Motorola A Google Company Now Sell His business TO Lenovo of $3-billion

Lenovo is buying Motorola Mobility from Google for $3 Billion a bigger say in the global tablet and smartphone market.Motorola has its own set of problems, whether it is finding its place among the Android partners, while being a Google subsidiary or demonstrating that despite design and software improvements, it can sell huge volumes of handsets the deal is expected to be announced on Thursday morning in Beijing but Lenovo refused to comment.Source.

Google, We acquired Motorola in 2012 to help supercharge the Android ecosystem by creating a stronger patent portfolio for Google and great smartphones for users. Over the past 19 months, Dennis Wood side and the Motorola team have done a tremendous job reinventing the company. They've focused on building a smaller number of great (and great value) smartphones that consumers love. Both the Moto G and the Moto X are doing really well, and I'm very excited about the smartphone line up for 2014.Source.

The deal has yet to be approved in the U.S. or China, and this usually takes time. So until then, it’s business as usual. I'm phenomenally impressed with everything the Motorola team has achieved and confident that with Lenovo as a partner, Motorola will build more and more great products for people everywhere.

It is Lenovo's second major deal on U.S. soil in a week as the Chinese electronics company angles to get a foothold in major global computing markets. Lenovo last week said it would buy IBM's low-end server business for $2.3 billion.

The purchase will give Lenovo a beach-head to compete against Apple and Samsung Electronics as well as increasingly aggressive Chinese smartphone makers in the highly lucrative U.S. arena.Source.
